Devilishly Baked Romance Scans has switched from a free-hosted BBS (Bulletin Board System) to a personally hosted BBS, if you couldn't tell. Wink

Running a limited version of PHPBB's popular BBS software, Olympus (PHPBB 3) through Forumotion limited our options for site adjustments and overall useability, so Doragon suggested to me that we should host an Simple Machines BBS. After having a few problems backing up databases after trial and error installing the software, I found that SMF, unlike many other systems, actually has a backup option installed. How neat.

Anyway, enough dribble. DBR Scans will now use dbr-scans.co.cc as our forums network, and if you are unfamiliar with using XDCC through IRC, mirrors will become available for all of our releases a few days after they become available through our IRC channel.

Those who have already registered on this site will have to re-register over at dbr-scans.co.cc. Sorry for the inconvenience! Now that we have access to our BBS's database, all changes in server and hosting will not affect your account, posts or rank, thank you.
